Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is inviting tenders for the supply, delivery, commissioning, and training for an Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES) for its Research and Development department. The project is located at the Eskom RT&D Water Lab in Rosherville, Germiston. The contract duration is six months. Key deliverables include the provision of the spectrometer unit, auto-sampler, workstation, printer, and UPS, alongside the commissioning of the equipment and training for five Eskom personnel. Bidders must adhere to NEC3 Term Service Short Contract conditions and meet a minimum technical functionality threshold of 75%. The tender process includes a non-compulsory clarification meeting on 21 October 2026 via MS Teams. The closing date for submissions is 02 November 2026 at 10:00 AM.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- ISO 9001:2015 compliant Quality Management System
- Documented environmental policy and impact assessment records
- Evidence of three similar South African installations within five years
- CVs for at least two local service technicians or engineers
- Signed Eskom 37(2) Agreement and Life-saving Rules acknowledgement
- Latest approved annual financial statements
- Proof of insurance meeting Eskom requirements
