Metrobus invites bids for the maintenance, training, and certification of Euro Five dual-fuel buses. The project covers 172 vehicles across four depots in Johannesburg, including Milpark, Village Main, Roodepoort, and Randburg. The successful provider will perform pressure testing, calibration, and maintenance of CNG systems, and issue Certificates of Competency every six months. Additionally, the provider must train Metrobus technicians on NGV internal combustion engines over a 36-month period. All work must comply with SANS standards and include a 12-month warranty on services provided.

- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid NERSA accreditation
- Valid SAQCC Gas registration for NGV practitioners
- Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN
- Proof of municipal rates or valid lease agreement
- Audited financial statements for past three years for tenders over R10 million
- Signed Joint Venture agreement and consolidated B-BBEE certificate if applicable
