The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) invites tenders for Consulting Engineering Services for Routine Road Maintenance on National Route N7 (Sections 6–8) and National Route N14 (Section 1) in the Northern Cape. The project covers the Namakwa and ZF Mgcawu District Municipalities. The successful service provider will manage the road maintenance contract, including condition assessments, tender documentation, site supervision, and quality assurance. The project timeline includes design and documentation completion by September 2027, followed by a 60-month supervision phase. Bidders must attend a compulsory virtual briefing session on 28 July 2026. The tender is valid for 12 weeks, and the final submission deadline is 14 August 2026.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Valid Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund (COIDA)
- Key personnel must hold Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng professional registration
- Proof of permanent employment for key staff
- Must hold Professional Indemnity, General Public Liability, and Third-Party insurance
- Attendance at the compulsory virtual briefing session
