The Musina-Makhado Special Economic Zone (MMSEZ) invites tenders for professional electrical and electronic engineering services. The project focuses on developing ICT infrastructure for the MMSEZ North Site, Phase 1I. The scope covers all project stages from initial design and procurement to contract administration and final close-out. The successful bidder will also manage additional services including geotechnical investigations, environmental assessments, and health and safety oversight. The work requires full-time construction monitoring. The project is based on an estimated construction value of R150,000,000.00. Bidders must provide a team led by a Professional Engineer with at least 15 years of experience in ICT infrastructure.

- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Registered company — An active CIPC-registered company in good standing.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- VAT registration — A registered VAT vendor number with SARS.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
Full requirements
- Principals and key personnel must hold valid ECSA professional registration
- Must provide proof of valid Professional Indemnity insurance
- Must have valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN
- Must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Must provide company registration and VAT registration documents
- Must have completed at least three projects valued at R5 million or more
