iThemba LABS is requesting the supply and delivery of one ORTEC (or equivalent) B-Series Totally Depleted Silicon Surface Barrier Particle Detector. This equipment is required for charged-particle detection and energy-loss measurements. The detector must feature a 150 mm² active area, a 200 μm depletion depth, and be compatible with high-vacuum environments. The work will take place at the iThemba LABS facility in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. The goods must be delivered by 31 July 2026. This tender is issued by iThemba LABS, and all proposals must be submitted by 21 July 2026.
