The Border Management Authority is seeking a service provider to manage an independent fraud hotline for a three-year period. The work involves operating a 24/7 call centre in four official languages, providing reporting channels via phone, WhatsApp, Telegram, and a web platform. Key deliverables include case management, immediate escalation of high-risk incidents, monthly performance reporting, and support for fraud awareness campaigns. The service provider must supply a project manager and four call centre agents with specific experience and qualifications. The project will be based in South Africa, and all offers must remain valid for 120 days from the closing date of 16 October 2026.
What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
Full requirements
- Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) or SARS PIN
- Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Professional Indemnity insurance of at least R160 million
- Police clearance or vetting for all project personnel
- Reference letters for projects completed within the last 5 years
- Certified qualifications and CVs for Project Manager and Call Centre Agents
