Description

The eThekwini Municipality invites bids for the provision of daily hygiene and cleaning services at 18 public transport facility ablutions located within the Western Region. The contract will run for a period of 24 months. The successful service provider is responsible for the daily cleaning of floors, walls, and sanitary fixtures, as well as the supply of all necessary cleaning materials and equipment. Staff must be provided with appropriate uniforms and safety gear. Services must be performed seven days a week, including public holidays. Key tasks include managing refuse, maintaining storerooms, and reporting any facility defects to municipal representatives. All cleaning supplies must meet SANS standards. The service provider must maintain a local presence within the eThekwini municipal boundary for the duration of the project.
