Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo is seeking a service provider to manage the complete quarantine process for a mandrill being imported from Australia to South Africa. The project requires a 40-day quarantine facility that is insect-proof and approved by the State Veterinarian. Key deliverables include providing veterinary care, sampling, and testing, as well as handling the collection of the animal from O.R. Tambo International Airport. The provider must also manage daily feeding, cleaning, and environmental enrichment for the animal throughout the quarantine period. All services must comply with South African veterinary regulations.

- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Import/export licence — A SARS importer's/exporter's code for cross-border goods.
