This panel will be used to source contractors for road rehabilitation, new road construction, road upgrades, culvert construction, bridge construction, and sinkhole repairs on an as-and-when-required basis. The work will take place across the Gauteng province. A compulsory site briefing is scheduled for 23 September 2026 at the Department of Roads and Transport in Pretoria. The closing date for submissions is 06 October 2026 at 11:00. Successful applicants will be appointed to the panel, though no specific volume of work is guaranteed at this stage. Future project-specific tenders will be issued to the panel members.
What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- CIDB grading (Grade 6 Civil Engineering (6CE)) — A Construction Industry Development Board grade in the right class of works.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
