Description

The uMlalazi Municipality is seeking a service provider for a three-year contract to supply and install a vehicle monitoring, tracking, and fleet management system. The project covers a fleet of approximately 88 vehicles and will take place in Eshowe. Key deliverables include a 24/7 control centre with recovery capabilities, national and SADC network coverage, and advanced reporting features such as driver behavior monitoring and remote immobilization. The successful bidder must also provide a skills transfer strategy and training for municipal staff. The contract includes annual price escalations based on CPIX, capped at 10%.
