This tender is issued by Eskom for the purchase, removal, and collection of scrap KVA transformers located at Garankuwa CNC. The project involves the disposal of 28 units containing aluminium and copper cores. The successful bidder must provide all necessary labour, certified machinery, and transport to safely handle and remove the scrap. The purchaser is responsible for site cleaning after collection. All units must be collected within 5 working days of receiving a work instruction. Payments must be made upfront within five days of the sale. Offers remain valid for 90 days from the closing date of 23 July 2026.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Compliance with Second-Hand Goods Act and relevant SAPS/Municipal licenses
- Environmental Waste Management License for hazardous waste transport
- Valid COID Letter of Good Standing
- Proof of registration as a Recycler
- Staff certifications: First Aid, Fire Fighting, and HIRA training
- Staff medical fitness certificates, valid driver licenses, and PDPs
