Description

The Theewaterskloof Municipality invites tenders for the ad-hoc demolition of illegal structures and the relocation of residents within its municipal area. The contract runs until 30 September 2026. Key deliverables include the demolition of informal structures, monitoring of land to prevent illegal building, and the deployment of tactical teams. Successful bidders must be available 24/7, including weekends and after hours, and must be able to respond to any location within the municipality within 90 minutes. The service provider must supply all necessary demolition equipment and vehicles, including a 5-ton truck. Work must be completed within three hours of receiving an instruction.
