CCTV Systems Training for PRASA in Gauteng

Description

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) invites bids for the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance training of CCTV systems in the Gauteng region. The project involves training 12 PRASA Telecoms Technicians over a 4 to 5-day period. The curriculum covers system design, installation, software configuration, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity. The service provider must supply all training materials, including learner manuals, and provide lunch for participants. Successful trainees must pass both a theoretical test and a practical evaluation to receive a Certificate of Competence. The work must be completed in accordance with industry standards and legal requirements, including POPIA compliance.

What you need to qualify

• CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
• Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
• Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
• Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

Full requirements

• Accredited training provider with PSIRA, SAIDSA, or relevant CCTV vendor
• Proof of organizational experience in similar projects
• Valid SARS Tax Compliance Pin
• Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing
• Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
