Description

The City of Mbombela has issued a tender for the upgrading of 3.25km of Siwela Road in Ward 04. The project involves converting an existing gravel road into a formal block-paved road. Key construction activities include clearing and grubbing, bulk earthworks, and the installation of layerworks consisting of sub-base, base, and paving bricks. The scope also covers the installation of stormwater drainage systems, such as culverts and V-drains, as well as road markings, signage, and landscaping. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for relocating existing services like electricity poles and water mains.
