The South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) is seeking an independent service provider to perform internal audit services. The successful bidder will evaluate governance, risk management, and internal controls over a three-year period. Key deliverables include creating a three-year strategic audit plan, conducting IT governance and risk maturity assessments, performing probity audits on procurement, and monitoring management action plans. The provider must attend quarterly committee meetings to present findings. This work will be based at the SACNASP offices. The contract duration is three years, with continuation dependent on performance reviews.
What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
Full requirements
- Registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN
- Valid registration with Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA)
- Minimum 70 points in technical functional assessment
- Proven experience with clients exceeding R15 million annual revenue
