Description

Iziko South African Museum is seeking a contractor to manage the removal, relocation, and reinstallation of the Gaia-sphere. The work will take place at the museum premises in Cape Town. The project involves safely disconnecting the sphere, rigging it for transport to a new location approximately 20 meters away, and performing a full reinstallation, including leveling and alignment. The contractor must test the equipment after installation and ensure the site is left clean. The project requires the contractor to provide all necessary equipment and personnel to complete the task safely. The contractor must also protect museum property during the process.
