Transnet Port Terminals is seeking service providers to join an approved list for finance and internal control support. This work will be performed on an as-and-when basis over a five-year period at the Transnet Port Terminals Head Office in Durban or other relevant terminals. The scope includes financial accounting, management accounting, internal control and PFMA compliance, and big data analytics. Selected providers must mobilize resources within one week of a request. Key deliverables include weekly timesheets and the provision of configured laptops for staff. Resources must be available for a minimum of 8.5 hours per day. The contract requires professional expertise in areas such as taxation, cost modeling, and process automation. Service providers must maintain high standards of reporting and provide qualified replacements if staff members leave during an assignment.
