Description

The Nkangala District Municipality is inviting tenders for the appointment of a panel of professional service providers to perform co-sourced internal audit functions. The focus of this work is specifically on Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) systems, controls, and governance. The successful service providers will support the District Municipality and its local municipalities. The contract will be active for a period of three years. Key tasks include IT security management, user access controls, system interface reviews, and following up on Auditor General findings related to ICT. Service providers must also develop a skill transfer plan. A compulsory briefing session is scheduled for 13 October 2026 at the municipal offices in Middelburg. The project requires professional teams, including a Team Leader and auditors, to perform specific hourly allocations over the contract term. All work must be conducted in accordance with the municipality's supply chain management policies.

  • Proof of academic qualifications with SAQA certification for foreign degrees
  • Attendance at the compulsory briefing session
