The Amahlathi Local Municipality is seeking service providers for three projects: solar-powered microgrid electrification for 42 households, energy efficiency and demand-side management implementation, and the maintenance of a GRAP-compliant asset register with a management system for three years. These projects will take place within the Amahlathi municipal area. The electrification and energy efficiency projects require attendance at a compulsory briefing session on 12 June 2026. The closing date for the electrification and energy efficiency bids is 26 June 2026, while the asset management bid closes on 08 July 2026. All bids remain valid for 90 days.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- CIDB grading (Grade 3 Electrical Engineering (Infrastructure) (3EP)) — A Construction Industry Development Board grade in the right class of works.
