Description

Transnet Port Terminals is seeking a service provider for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of workshop machinery at the Port of Port Elizabeth Multi-Purpose Terminal. The contract will run for a period of 12 months. The scope of work includes conducting baseline condition assessments, performing preventative maintenance, executing breakdown repairs, and ensuring all machinery is tested and safe for operation. The service provider must also manage housekeeping, provide monthly performance reports, and respond to equipment breakdowns within one hour of notification. Key deliverables include the provision of qualified mechanical and electrical technicians, the implementation of a quality control plan, and adherence to strict safety and environmental regulations. All work must be performed according to original equipment manufacturer standards to ensure machine functionality and safety compliance.
