Description

Transnet National Ports Authority invites bids for the supply, installation, and integration of smart water and electricity meters across eight South African ports. The project includes installing hardware, setting up fibre optic and wireless networks, and developing a centralized utility management software that integrates with existing SAP and IPMS systems. The work will take place at the ports of Richards Bay, Durban, East London, Ngqura, Port Elizabeth, Mossel Bay, Cape Town, and Saldanha. The contract includes a 12-month post-implementation support period. Bidders must attend a compulsory briefing session to qualify.
