The Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) is seeking a service provider to conduct quantitative data collection for a study on scientists and researchers. The project involves managing an online survey to gather 220 completed questionnaires across public universities and research institutions in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, North-West, and the Western Cape. Key responsibilities include recruiting and supervising data collectors, ensuring data quality, and using digital tablets with the REDCap platform. The fieldwork is scheduled to take place from 9 November 2026 to 12 February 2027, with a final report due in March 2027. Bidders must have at least 5 years of experience in quantitative survey research and demonstrate the ability to manage multi-province operations. A briefing session is scheduled for 5 October 2026, and the final submission deadline is 15 October 2026.

Full requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in quantitative survey research
- Proven experience managing multi-province fieldwork and digital data collection
- Must employ experienced quantitative researchers with language proficiency
- Must provide three examples of similar completed reports from the last five years
- Must have a POPIA-compliant data management and security plan
