The Dawid Kruiper Municipality is seeking a panel of service providers for the supply, delivery, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment at water and wastewater treatment works. This project covers the Upington and Mier areas in the Northern Cape. The contract will run for a period of three years on an as-and-when-required basis. Key deliverables include the installation and repair of pumps, motors, switchgears, and control panels, as well as the maintenance of treatment plant infrastructure. Bidders must be able to respond to emergency requests within two hours. All parts supplied must be genuine and meet SANS standards. Successful bidders must provide detailed assessment reports and test certifications for all completed work. The municipality will issue separate requests for quotes to the appointed panel members throughout the contract duration.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- CIDB grading (Grade 5 Mechanical Engineering (5ME)) — A Construction Industry Development Board grade in the right class of works.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
