Description

uMngeni-uThukela Water is seeking a panel of service providers to supply earthmoving equipment and plant hire for the South Central Region. This includes the uMgungundlovu, Harry Gwala, and Ugu District Municipalities. The contract covers a three-year period and requires the provision of equipment such as excavators, graders, tipper trucks, and cranes on a wet rate basis, including operators and fuel. Service providers must be available to respond to requests within two to four hours. The work involves supporting pipeline networks, reservoirs, and operational sites across various local municipalities. Bidders must have a fully equipped workshop within 50 km of Pietermaritzburg and provide competent, qualified operators for all machinery. A compulsory briefing session is scheduled for 19 August 2026.
