Description

Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) is seeking a service provider to supply, deliver, install, and commission twenty-two 3kVA and one 10kVA transformer-based, tropicalised Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units. The project will take place at various substations, railyard points, control desks, and buildings within the Port of Richards Bay. Key deliverables include the installation of battery banks with a 10-minute capacity, the issuance of a Certificate of Compliance, and the provision of operational manuals and as-built drawings. All work must follow Original Equipment Manufacturer guidelines and relevant SANS standards. The project is scheduled to commence in August 2026, with a final completion date set for 28 February 2026.
