Description

The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs invites bids for the supply and delivery of tools for the Invasive Alien Species Programme. The project covers ten district municipalities in KwaZulu-Natal over a 24-month period. Key deliverables include industrial-grade equipment such as machetes, axes, sprayers, and safety gear. Successful bidders must deliver goods to Pietermaritzburg within two months of receiving a purchase order. A compulsory briefing session is scheduled for 01 September 2026 at Cedara College. Bids must be submitted by 16 September 2026. Bidders must provide 3 to 5 reference letters for previous contracts worth at least R500,000.00 each to prove their experience. Prices must be fixed for the first year with an allowance for inflation in the second year.
