The National Research Foundation (NRF) is seeking a service provider to supply one marine Box-corer system for the South African Polar Research Infrastructure. This equipment is used to collect undisturbed seabed samples and must be made of marine-grade stainless steel, rated for depths of 6000 meters, and include two additional sample boxes. The work will be delivered to the Foretrust Building in Cape Town. The contract covers a two-year period and includes the provision of user manuals, maintenance guides, and a two-year manufacturer warranty. The system must feature a specific no-load release mechanism to ensure accurate sampling. All technical documentation and support materials must be provided upon delivery.
