The successful service provider will inspect fire extinguishers, hose reels, sprinkler systems, hydrants, and smoke alarms over a 24-month period on an as-and-when required basis. Work must comply with SANS standards and include managing the local fire authority for certification. All services must be delivered within 7 working days of an official order. The contract aims to ensure fire safety compliance at these two Gauteng airport facilities.

- CIDB grading (Grade 2 Specialist Works (2SW)) — A Construction Industry Development Board grade in the right class of works.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
