The Education, Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA) is inviting bids for the appointment of legal practitioners. This includes law firms, attorneys, and Fidelity Fund advocates to support its internal legal unit. The work will be performed on an as-and-when-required basis. Key deliverables include vetting contracts, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, debt recovery, and providing representation in courts and tribunals. The contract will last for a maximum of 24 months. A non-compulsory virtual briefing session is scheduled for 19 June 2026, and the deadline for submitting proposals is 01 July 2026.

- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Registered company — An active CIPC-registered company in good standing.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
