The Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA) invites service providers to conduct an intermediate clothing apparel skills training programme. This project will support twenty MSMEs in the clothing and textile industry over a six-month period. The work will take place in the eThekwini district. Key deliverables include developing a comprehensive training curriculum, providing a fully equipped training venue, and conducting 576 hours of training. The service provider must also manage logistics, including catering and participant transport, and ensure each beneficiary produces four market-ready garments. Monthly progress reports and a final project close-out report are required. The project requires a team consisting of a Project Manager, a Facilitator, and a Fashion Designer, all with relevant NQF qualifications and industry experience.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
