The Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA) is seeking a service provider to conduct a fashion manufacturing skills training programme. This project will support twenty MSMEs in the clothing and textile industry within the eThekwini district. The selected provider must design and deliver a six-month training curriculum, providing both theoretical and practical instruction totaling 576 hours. Key deliverables include the production of three commercially viable garments per beneficiary, the provision of a fully equipped training venue, catering, and transportation for participants. The service provider is also responsible for monitoring progress, submitting monthly reports, and issuing certificates of attendance. The project duration is six months, with training sessions scheduled for four days per week.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
