Description

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) is seeking Enterprise Supplier Development (ESD) beneficiaries within the ICT sector. This program aims to support small businesses through coaching, mentoring, business training, and market access. The work will take place across various SABC regional offices nationwide. Key deliverables include signing an ESD agreement, attending monthly workshops, and documenting business performance and employee time. The program focuses on empowering emerging suppliers by providing both monetary and non-monetary support based on individual needs. The initiative is designed to help small ICT businesses understand tendering requirements and improve their operational capacity.

  • Tax clearanceA valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
  • B-BBEE certificateA B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.

  • Must be an EME in the ICT sector
  • Must have 51% Black ownership (youth, women, or disabled)
  • Must provide proof of provincial residence
  • Directors must hold relevant ICT academic qualifications
  • Must have valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
  • Must have valid SARS tax compliance status
  • Must be registered with CIPC
  • Must provide financial statements or 12-month bank statements
  • Must have no history of fraud, blacklisting, or litigation with SABC
