Description

Transnet Pipelines (TPL) is seeking an engineering consultant to provide strategic planning and project support for its renewable energy rollout. The project involves the design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover of solar PV systems with battery storage across 12 depot sites in South Africa. The contract is for a duration of 3 years. The consultant will act as the Employer’s technical representative, providing engineering oversight, construction supervision, quality assurance, and risk management. Key deliverables include site assessments, feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and project management reporting. The project aims to support TPL’s Net Zero initiative by reducing grid dependency and operational energy costs.
