The Saldanha Bay Municipality invites tenders for the supply and installation of paving at three library locations: Saldanha Library, Harold Krumm Library, and Hopefield Library. The project involves clearing vegetation, preparing the road bed, and installing 50mm charcoal bond pavers. The total work area covers approximately 135 square meters of paving and 112 meters of border pavers. The successful contractor must complete all works within four working weeks of receiving a purchase order. A compulsory site meeting is scheduled for 6 November 2026 at the Hopefield Library. Contractors are responsible for on-site waste management and must provide safe disposal certificates upon completion.
What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Registered company — An active CIPC-registered company in good standing.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- CIDB grading (Grade 1 General Building (1GB)) — A Construction Industry Development Board grade in the right class of works.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.

- Proof of municipal account or valid lease agreement
