Transnet is seeking a service provider to perform a once-off service, repair, and testing of an Ilva 270L air compressor. The work will take place at the Transnet straddle workshop located at the Port of Port Elizabeth Container Terminal. Key deliverables include calibrating pressure gauges, replacing drive belts, repairing electrical components, fixing oil leaks, and conducting mandatory pressure vessel and MPI testing. The successful bidder must provide all necessary calibration and test certificates for the equipment. The project requires a qualified technician, such as a Millwright or Electro-mechanician, with at least two years of relevant experience.
