The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) invites tenders for the appointment of a service provider to perform air compressor services, supply parts, and conduct maintenance and repairs. The work will take place at the depot located at CNR Fuel & Harmony Street, Coronationville, Johannesburg. The contract is for a period of three years on an as and when required basis. Key deliverables include performing major and minor services, fluid and filter maintenance, mechanical and safety checks, and regular inspections according to Original Equipment Manufacturer recommendations. The service provider must also provide site briefings to staff regarding daily maintenance. The tender is subject to a compulsory briefing session on 29 October 2026. All work, including labour, materials, testing, and commissioning, must be included in the quoted rates. The tender is evaluated on an 80/20 preference point system.
