The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development is establishing a panel of multi-disciplinary professional service providers. The selected firms will provide planning, design, implementation, and monitoring services for infrastructure projects across all nine South African provinces. The contract will run for 36 months on an as-needed basis. Required expertise includes project management, architecture, civil and structural engineering, quantity surveying, agricultural engineering, town planning, environmental management, and occupational health and safety. The work involves site inspections, feasibility studies, and construction monitoring.
What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
Full requirements
- Professional registration with SACPCMP, ECSA, SACQSP, or SACAP.
- Minimum R5 million professional indemnity insurance.
- Active registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
- Documented office presence within the relevant province.
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance PIN.
- Proof of registered key personnel for each service category.
