The Independent Development Trust (IDT) is establishing a panel of multi-disciplinary professional service providers for the Eastern Cape. The selected firms will provide construction project management services across six stages for infrastructure projects. This work will be performed on an as-and-when-required basis for a period of three years. Required disciplines include architects, quantity surveyors, electrical, mechanical, and civil engineers, as well as occupational health and safety experts and social facilitators. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of post-registration experience and possess knowledge of the Eastern Cape region. The project aims to support infrastructure development throughout the province.

- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Professional registration with relevant industry councils (ECSA, SACAP, SACQSP, or SACPCMP)
- Professional indemnity insurance (R6 million multi-disciplinary or R2 million per discipline)
