The Musina-Makhado Special Economic Zone (MMSEZ) is seeking to appoint a panel of professional civil and structural engineering service providers. This appointment will last for a period of 36 months. The work involves providing engineering services across various stages, including project inception, design, procurement, contract administration, and project close-out. Successful bidders will be expected to manage labour-intensive works following EPWP guidelines and act as lead consultants or principal agents when required. The work will take place in the Limpopo region. Key deliverables include technical designs, site inspections, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. The panel will be evaluated based on their ability to provide professional leadership and technical expertise in both civil and structural engineering disciplines over the three-year term.
What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Registered company — An active CIPC-registered company in good standing.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Principals and key personnel must hold current ECSA registration
- Must provide valid Tax Clearance Certificate and TCS Pin
- Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Must hold Professional Indemnity Insurance of at least R1.5 million
- Must provide valid company registration documents (CIPC, Trust, or Partnership)
