Komatiland Forests (SAFCOL) invites proposals for the provision of Silviculture services across various plantations, including Belfast, Jessievale, Roburnia, Brooklands, Witklip, Bergvliet, Blyde, and the Sabie Research Centre. This is a three-year contract governed by the NEC4 Term Service Contract. The scope of work includes general silviculture operations such as chemical weeding, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and fire management, as well as specialized research and development tasks at the Sabie facility. Service providers must manage operations using their own equipment, vehicles, and qualified personnel, including foresters and first aiders. A compulsory briefing session is scheduled for 01 July 2026 via Microsoft Teams. Performance is monitored through monthly reports and mandatory fortnightly meetings. Payments are performance-based, issued 30 days after invoice verification. Bidders must demonstrate experience in commercial forestry and adherence to FSC principles.

- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
