The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) is seeking an independent service provider to conduct a Stage 3 Road Safety Audit for the upgrade of National Route 2 (N2) Section 27. The project area spans from Ballito (km 7,40) to the Tinley Manor Interchange (km 18,93) in KwaZulu-Natal. The scope includes reviewing detailed designs for adding a third lane to the N2 mainline and upgrading the Shaka’s Rock, Salt Rock, and Tinley Manor interchanges. The successful bidder must act independently to assess design safety and provide formal audit reports in line with TRH29 standards. The project requires a team leader with professional engineering registration and at least 10 years of experience, plus a team member from a QSE/EME company for capacity building. The audit must be completed within 28 days of commencement.

- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
