Description

The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) is seeking an independent, accredited laboratory to perform microbiological testing on pharmaceutical products. The work involves testing non-sterile and sterile products, including microbial limit tests, sterility testing, and environmental monitoring. The laboratory must provide formal Certificates of Analysis and maintain a strict chain-of-custody for all samples. Key deliverables include meeting specific turnaround times, such as 20 working days for routine tests and 10 working days for urgent regulatory samples. The laboratory must also participate in proficiency testing and ensure full confidentiality. This project is based in South Africa and the closing date for submissions is 21 September 2026.
