The SANPC Refinery is seeking a qualified radio network specialist consultant to assess its existing radio communication infrastructure. The work will take place at the Admin and Hawkeye sites in Isipingo, Durban. The project involves three phases: gathering information and reviewing current system documentation, performing a technical and lifecycle assessment of fixed network elements and approximately 200 Motorola subscriber radios, and conducting a strategic options analysis. Key deliverables include a comprehensive assessment report covering risk registers and a decision evaluation matrix, as well as a formal presentation of findings to stakeholders. The consultant must be independent of equipment suppliers. The project team leader must have at least 10 years of experience in radio communications engineering. The tender is issued by the CEF Group. The compulsory briefing session is scheduled for 8 July 2026, and the final closing date for submissions is 16 July 2026 at 12:00.
