South African National Parks (SANParks) is seeking a private partner for a 25-year concession at the Mluwati Concession Area in Kruger National Park. The project involves financing, refurbishing, and operating three existing lodges: Imbali Safari Lodge, Hamilton’s Tented Camp, and Hoyo-Hoyo Traditional Camp. The successful bidder will manage 10,000 hectares, including 40km of roads and staff housing. Key deliverables include annual tourism grading, infrastructure maintenance, and implementing a B-BBEE scheme with a 10% equity interest for local communities. Bidders must demonstrate at least 5 years of luxury lodge experience and a minimum net asset value of R10 million.
