Description

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) invites proposals for the appointment of service providers to deliver safety-related and functional training programmes for employees in the Western Cape Region. This contract will run for a period of thirty-six months on an as-and-when-required basis. The scope of work includes a wide range of safety training, such as First Aid, Firefighting, Working at Heights, and crane operations, as well as functional training covering ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and operational risk management. Service providers are responsible for providing all necessary training equipment, materials, and qualified facilitators. Facilitators must hold relevant NQF Level 4 qualifications and assessor certifications. The project requires the submission of attendance registers and assessment results to ensure quality control. A compulsory briefing session is scheduled for 07 September 2026 via Microsoft Teams, and the final deadline for bid submissions is 28 September 2026.
