The uMlalazi Municipality is seeking a panel of contractors for a three-year contract to provide heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration services. The work will take place in Eshowe and surrounding areas. Key deliverables include the maintenance, repair, and installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems, as well as regular preventative maintenance and emergency repairs. Contractors must be able to respond to emergency requests within three hours and complete standard work within specified timeframes. What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- CIDB grading (Grade 2 Mechanical Engineering (2ME)) — A Construction Industry Development Board grade in the right class of works.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
