The Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC) is seeking a service provider to conduct an External Quality Assurance Review of its internal audit function. The project involves evaluating the department's compliance with Global Internal Audit Standards, reviewing audit strategies, and assessing risk management processes. Key deliverables include a project engagement plan, a gap analysis report, an improvement action plan, and a skills transfer workshop for internal staff. The work is scheduled to take place in July 2026. Bidders must provide a team consisting of a Certified Internal Auditor as a team leader, along with senior and junior internal auditors, all possessing relevant NQF Level 7 qualifications and specific years of experience. The service provider must also supply at least three client references, including one from the government sector.
