Description

Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) is inviting bids for the provision of hazardous and general industrial waste management services. This contract covers multiple port locations across South Africa, including Richards Bay, Durban, East London, Ngqura, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town, Saldanha, and the Lohatla Terminal. The successful service provider will be responsible for the collection, transportation, treatment, and final disposal of waste on an as-and-when-required basis. The contract duration is set for five years. Key deliverables include the supply of skilled supervision, labour, skip containers, and specialized transport equipment. Bidders must ensure all operations comply with the National Environmental Management: Waste Act.
