Description

The National Research Foundation (NRF) SAIAB invites bids for the maintenance, repair, and technical support of two 15m aluminium research vessels, the RV Observer and RV Phakisa. The work will take place at the Ports of Port Elizabeth and Durban over a five-year period. Key deliverables include scheduled maintenance, hull cleaning, engine and gearbox servicing, and hydraulic system testing. The service provider must ensure all work meets SAMSA and OEM standards. Bidders must have at least five years of experience in marine aluminium vessel maintenance and be located within 150km of the specified ports.
