South African National Parks invites bids for the removal of asbestos roofing and the installation of new IBR roof sheets at the Tsitsikamma Section of the Garden Route National Park. The project involves the safe disposal of 392 square meters of asbestos and the installation of high-quality, corrosion-resistant steel sheeting. What you need to qualify

• CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
• Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
• CIDB grading (Grade 1 General Building (1GB)) — A Construction Industry Development Board grade in the right class of works.
• Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
• Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

Full requirements

• CIDB grading of 1GB or higher
• Valid Asbestos Contractor and removal/disposal certification
• Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing
• Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) or SARS PIN
• Registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
